Mechanism

Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 stimulates stromal cell activity by inhibiting oxygen and hydroxyl radicals, promotes collagen synthesis and increases the production of elastin, hyaluronic acid, glycosaminoglycan and fibronectin, thus improving skin elasticity and firmness to achieve anti-aging effects.

Efficacy Experiment

Uv irradiation resulted in a decrease in cell survival rate (reduced by 30%). The addition of palmitoyl tripeptide-5 produced by Readline significantly increased cell survival rate, and the effect became more significant with the increase of concentration. These results indicated that the palmitoyl tripeptide-5 produced by Readline has effect of repairing cell damage.(Fig. a). The cells were irradiated with UV, resulting in the loss of type I collagen (reduced by 33%). After the addition of palmitoyl tripeptide-5 produced by Readline, the collagen content gradually recovered, more significant effect with higher concentration; These results indicate that palmitoyl tripeptide-5 produced by Readline significantly promote the production of type I collagen(Fig. b).
